The goal is to eliminate harmful stimuli, including damaged cells, irritation, and start the healing process. The good news again, you can control this inflammation with some of the following healthy and delicious foods.
1. High protein
Fish such as salmon, tuna, shellfish, sardines, salted fish have high levels of omega-3 fatty acids. Besides, other delicious foods such as shellfish, shrimp, lobster, crab, chicken, tempeh, and even tofu can help you reduce inflammation.
Also, antioxidant-rich foods such as dark green vegetables like spinach are effective for controlling your inflammation. Also, these vegetables contain vitamin E which helps protect the body from pro-inflammatory molecules called cytokines.
Good beans for inflammation are raw, unsalted (without salt), and roasted beans. You can choose various types of nuts such as walnuts, almonds, pine nuts, hazelnuts, and others.
Nuts have a high content of monounsaturated fat which helps fight inflammation. Besides beans also contain vitamin E, fiber, and antioxidants.
Berries that are rich in antioxidants are very powerful to help overcome your inflammation. Blueberries are the best berries.
4. Grains and lentils
Lentils or lentils in either red, green, or black colors and several types of nuts such as lima beans, red beans, white beans, pinto beans, and black beans are very rich in fiber content.

In addition to foods that help overcome inflammation, there are some foods that you should avoid when you are experiencing inflammation, such as honey or other sweet foods. Sugary foods can trigger an increase in blood sugar that is not good for your inflammation.
